Holaluz y ENERPARC AG firman un PPA para

la adquisición de 84 MW de energía renovable fotovoltaica en Baleares

• El contrato engloba un acuerdo de 84MW en 10 años y las plantas serán financiadas mediante Project Finance.
• El acuerdo suma la energía renovable generada por 23 proyectos fotovoltaicos situados en las Islas Baleares (21 en Mallorca y 2 en Ibiza), con potencias de entre 3 y 5 MW. Dicha energía generada abastecerá alrededor de 43.000 nuevos clientes de Holaluz.
• Holaluz, la tecnológica de energía verde, adquirirá la energía generada por los 23 proyectos a un precio pactado entre las partes, a través de un PPA y también actuará como representante de mercado.

Holaluz, la tecnológica de energía verde que cotiza en el BME Growth (anteriormente denominado Mercado Alternativo Bursátil - MAB), ha firmado un PPA (Power Purchase Agreement o contrato de compraventa de energía a largo plazo) con ENERPARC AG para la adquisición de energía renovable generada por parques que suman un total de 84 MW fotovoltaicos. Igualmente, Holaluz actuará como representante de mercado. Dicha energía generada abastecerá alrededor de 43.000 nuevos clientes de Holaluz.

ENERPARC AG, empresa alemana especializada en energía solar con sede en Hamburgo, pondrá en marcha en los próximos dos años un total de 23 proyectos fotovoltaicos situados en las Islas Baleares (21 en Mallorca y 2 en Ibiza), con potencias de entre 3 y 5 MW. La puesta en marcha está prevista entre el primer trimestre del 2021 y el tercer trimestre de

2022. El acuerdo tendrá una duración de 10 años y las plantas serán financiadas mediante Project Finance​.

PPAs en España y Portugal

El fuerte ritmo de crecimiento que está experimentado Holaluz genera la necesidad de buscar este tipo de contratos PPA para poder facilitar un precio estable a sus clientes, así como garantizar el origen renovable de su energía. Este PPA define todos los términos de la venta de energía entre el vendedor y el comprador tales como las condiciones de pago, el calendario de entregas, etc.

Desde noviembre de 2018, Holaluz ha firmado otros PPA. El primero con Raiola Future ​para la compra de la energía generada durante 10 años en 10​ plantas fotovoltaicas en España y Portugal con una potencia total de 20 MW . El segundo con EDF Solar para la compra de la energía generada en plantas fotovoltaicas con una potencia total de 120 MW ubicadas en España y Portugal. En 2019 Holaluz firmó un PPA con Falck para la compra de energía producida en una instalación eólica con una potencia total de 10 MW; también firmó un acuerdo marco con Chint Energy para adquirir la energía producida ​por sus instalaciones

fotovoltaicas en España de hasta 500 MW; asimismo​ firmó un acuerdo con Fundeen para adquirir la energía producida por las instalaciones fotovoltaicas promovidas por éste. Este año 2020 se ha firmado un PPA con Wirtgen Invest para cuatro parques fotovoltaicos en Portugal con una potencia total de 97 MW.

• The contract includes a 10 years 84 megawatt agreement and will be financed with Project Finance.
• The agreement aggregates the renewable energy generated by 23 photovoltaic projects located in the Balearic Islands (21 in Mallorca and 2 in Ibiza), with a capacity between 3 and 5 megawatt. This generated energy will supply around 43,000 new Holaluz customers.
• Holaluz, the green energy technology company, will acquire the energy generated by the 23 projects at a price agreed between the parties, through a PPA and will also act as a market representative.

Holaluz, the green energy technology company listed on BME Growth (formerly known as the Alternative Stock Market - MAB), has signed a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement or long-term energy purchase agreement) with ENERPARC AG for the acquisition of renewable energy generated by parks that aggregate a total of 84 megawatt through 23 photovoltaic projects. Likewise, Holaluz will act as a market representative. This generated energy will supply around 43,000 new Holaluz customers.

ENERPARC AG, a German company specialized in solar energy based in Hamburg, will launch a total of 23 photovoltaic projects located in the Balearic Islands (21 in Mallorca and 2 in Ibiza) over the next two years, with a capacity between 3 and 5 megawatt. The start is scheduled between the first quarter of 2021 and the third quarter of 2022. The agreement will have a duration of 10 years and will be financed with Project Finance.

PPAs in Spain and Portugal

The strong growth rate that Holaluz is experiencing, generates the need to seek this type of PPA contract in order to provide a stable price to its customers. As well as to guarantee the renewable origin of its energy. This PPA defines all the terms of the sale of energy between the seller and the buyer such as the payment conditions, the delivery schedule, etc.

Since November 2018, Holaluz has signed other PPAs. The first with Raiola Future, for the purchase of 10 photovoltaic plants over 10 years in photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 20 MW. The second with EDF Solar, an agreement for the purchase of the energy generated by photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 20MW in Spain and Portugal. In 2019, Holaluz signed a PPA with Falck for the purchase of energy produced in a wind installation with a total capacity of 10MW; it also signed an agreement with Fundeen to acquire the energy produced by photovoltaic installations promoted by it. This year, 2020, a PPA has been signed with Wirtgen Invest for four photovoltaic parks in Portugal with a total capacity of 97MW.
