National Grid : Offering Financial Assistance Webinars in English and Spanish - Español abajo

PROVIDENCE, RI -- More than a year after the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, many are still facing difficult and stressful times, including those who for the first time, are struggling to pay their utility bills. To help those customers, National Grid is offering free webinars, entitled 'Solutions to Help with Your Energy Bill,' to raise awareness around financial assistance programs that are available to income-eligible customers. Even if they have never qualified before, many customers may now be eligible for this financial assistance.

'These webinars offer our income eligible and vulnerable customers a comprehensive look into our programs and services, at a time when it is needed the most,' said Damaris Dominguez, National Grid's Lead Customer Advocate in New England. She and her team have helped customers identify assistance solutions that make their energy bill more manageable. 'We want you to succeed with whatever you are having an issue with. These free webinars highlight the many assistance programs available and provide a clear way to support our customers during these tough times.'

The webinars, which are hosted by members of National Grid's customer advocate team, cover a variety of topics, including: Discount Rates, Payment Arrangements, Forgiveness Program, Budget Plans, Ways to Pay, Energy Efficiency and Fuel Assistance Grants. There is no charge for the webinar, but registration is required, and space is limited.

The free webinars are being offered on March 25 in English at 1:30 pm and in Spanish at 4:30 pm. Space is limited, and you must register for the webinars. Links to register are included below. Customers can also learn about additional bill assistance programs, by going to www.ngrid.com/webinars
