She is also on the board of Sensirion Holding AG, Forendo Pharma Oy, Ribon Therapeutics, Inc. and Arctos Medical AG and Member-Foundation Board at Swiss National Science Foundation.

She previously occupied the position of Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co., Inc. and Director at Diagnoplex SA.

She received a doctorate from Cornell University and a graduate degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
