Presently, Girts Cimermans is Chief Executive Officer of medmix AG. Mr. Cimermans is also on the board of Alpcot Ltd.

In his past career he occupied the position of Executive Officer & President-Vision Care Company at HOYA Corp. Chief Executive Officer of HOYA Vision Care Europe, President-Europe Middle East & Africa at PENTAX Europe GmbH and Chief Executive Officer of Hoya Vision Care (which are all subsidiaries of HOYA Corp.), President-Applicator Systems at Sulzer AG, Director-Eastern Europe at KaVo Dental GmbH and President-North Eastern Europe at GE Healthcare GmbH.

He received a graduate degree from Stockholm School of Economics.
