Didier Harel is currently the Chairman of MCB Forward Foundation.
He is also the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of MCB Group Ltd., the Independent Non-Executive Director of Terra Mauricia Ltd., and the Non-Executive Director of Terragri Ltd.
Previously, Mr. Harel served as the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Total South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
He was also the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Gestion Sécurité de Stocks Sécurité SA from 2012 to 2015.
From 1989 to 2012, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at Total UK Ltd.
Additionally, he served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sun Ltd.
from 2015 to 2021.
Mr. Harel has also held director positions at Les Docks des Pétroles d'Ambès SA, Dépôts Pétroliers de Fos SA, Société Du Pipeline Mediterranee Rhone, and Société des Transports Petroliers par Pipeline SA. He was an Executive Director-Logistics at Total France SA from 1989 to 2012.
Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of Esso Mauritius Ltd.
from 1974 to 1988, and the Managing Director of Esso Reunion.
Mr. Harel completed his undergraduate degree at Imperial College London in 1973.
He also holds an MBA from INSEAD.
