He is also Member of The Royal Aeronautical Society and on the board of 8 other companies.

In his past career Mr. Ord held the position of MD-Naval Ships & F-35 Joint Strike Fighter at BAE Systems Plc.

Mr. Ord received an undergraduate degree from Royal Naval Engineering College.
