Roeland Nusse founded Surrozen Operating, Inc. Dr. Nusse is on the board of Bio-Techne Corp. and Professor at Stanford University.

He previously occupied the position of Member of The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts & Sciences, Member of American Academy of Arts & Sciences, Member of European Molecular Biology Organization and Head-Molecular Biology & Staff Scientist at Het Nederlands Kanker Instituut-Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Ziekenh.

Dr. Nusse received an undergraduate degree from the University of Amsterdam.
