In the past Dr. Chen was Chief Strategic Officer-Cainiao Logistic Network at Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., Chief Strategy Officer at Zhejiang Cainiao Supply Chain Management Co. Ltd., Assistant Professor at INSEAD, Associate Professor at China Europe International Business School, Assistant Professor at INSEAD Asia Campus and Assistant Professor at Insead Business School.

Dr. Chen received a doctorate from Purdue University, a graduate degree from the University of Tamkang and an undergraduate degree from National Taiwan University.
