Yury Nikolayevich Malyshev holds the position of Chairman at Vernadsky State Geological Museum. Dr. Malyshev is also on the board of Acron PJSC and Sn Gold Mining OOO and President for Academy of Mining Sciences and Member of Russian Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Malyshev previously occupied the position of Chairman of OShK Soyuzspetsstroy ZAO.

Dr. Malyshev received an undergraduate degree from Kemerovo State University and an undergraduate degree from Kuzbass State Technical University.
