Abdul Mabud

Abdul Mabud is Director of Scientific Services for Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau.
He joined Alcohol & Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau in 2003 and served as Chief of Beverage Alcohol Laboratory.
Dr. Mabud began his Federal career as Senior Chemist of the National Laboratory Center for Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) in November 1998 and became Chief of Beverage Alcohol in January 2000.
Previously, he joined the Washington Research Center of W.R.
Grace in 1987 and served as Senior Scientist in 1998.
He served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Jahangirnagar University from 1977 to 1979.
Dr. Mabud received a BS degree in Chemistry from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh in 1976, and a Master's degree in Chemistry from South Dakota State University in 1981, as well as a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University in 1987.
