Mr. Alan Arcand is an Associate Director of Metropolitan Forecast at AERIC, Inc. His responsibilities include overseeing the Centre’s forecasts of 29 Canadian census metropolitan areas.
He also manages many of the group’s contract research projects, including economic impact studies, custom medium- and long-term economic forecasts, and many other city-related subjects.
When he first joined The Conference Board of Canada in January 2000, Mr. Arcand was the analyst responsible for the Canadian agricultural sector and the provincial economies of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
He holds an M.A.
in Economics from Queen’s University and a B.A.
in International Relations from the University of Windsor.
