Alexandre Taillefer

Principal associate, since 2011, of the XPND Fund, an investment fund in companies in the electrification of transport, technology, media and entertainment sector with nearly 100 million, Alexandre Taillefer is a serial entrepreneur who became publicly known thanks to his participation in the television series “In the Eye of the Dragon”.
Aged 21, in 1993 he founded Intellia, which would become Nurun, an interactive agency now owned by Publicis.
In 2001, he founded Hexacto, which in two years became a world leader in mobile games, acquired by Jamdat Mobile, then by Electronic Arts.
In 2007, he co-founded Stingray Digital, a now public company that streams music to more than 100 million homes around the world daily.
In 2015, he founded Téo, an all-electric taxi company that revolutionized the industry.
He chairs numerous boards of directors, notably those of GSM Project, IPerceptions, Communications Voir and Autobus Lion.
A tireless defender of culture, he chaired the board of directors of the Opéra de Montréal from 1996 to 2012.
He is president of the Steering Committee of Montreal Cultural Metropolis.
Since 2012, he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art, which has since undergone a significant revitalization.
He writes a monthly column in Voir magazine and does not hesitate to share his ideas and his passion as a speaker.
