Andreas Baumann

Andreas Baumann is part of the Private Equity Partnership Investments business unit, based in Zug.
He is a member of the Global Investment Committee, the Private Equity Direct Co-Investments and Direct Lead Growth Investments Investment Committees, Chairman of the Private Equity Partnership Investments Investment Committee, and a member of the Board of Directors of the firm's portfolio companies Aavas Financiers, CSS Corp., and EuroKids.
He has been with Partners Group since 2003 and has over 26 years of industry experience across the globe.
Previously, Mr. Baumann was Head of the Americas, based in New York, and a Member of the Executive Committee from 2014 to 2017.
He has also held the position of Head of Partners Group’s Singapore office, being responsible for the firm’s Asia-Pacific private equity investment activities between 2010 and 2014.
Prior to his time in Asia, he was part of Partners Group's Private Equity Directs and Primaries Americas business, based in New York.
He has worked on significant global transactions and value creation projects.
Prior to Partners Group, Mr. Baumann worked at the Chinese company Sinoart Inc. in the US.
He holds an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business, USA.
