RBC IM-UK invests in fixed-income and equity securities, with the majority of its investment in large-cap companies, predominantly in European and UK equities. Bordier UK’sinvestment process is designed to contain risk and volatility to acceptable levels, and to ensure that client’s portfolio is managed within the risk tolerance agreed with them and their advisers at the outset. The firm makes active tactical changes to asset allocation in portfolios as conditions alter and uses funds extensively which offer wide diversification and a reduction in overall risk in their portfolios. They invest across a broad cross section of asset classe and use exchange-traded funds (‘ETFs’) to gain rapid, low-cost access to asset classes when appropriate.
