Anthony Ruys

Anthony Ruys is currently the Chairman of Stichting Museum Beelden aan Zee, Chairman-Supervisory Board of Aids Fonds, Chairman-Supervisory Board of Madurodam Foundation, Independent Non-Executive Director of Hunter Douglas NV, Non-Executive Director of Stichting Codart, Director of SparkOptimus BV, Independent Member-Supervisory Board of Intertrust Group BV, Member of AIESEC International, Member-Supervisory Board of Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, and Member-Supervisory Board of Intertrust NV.
In the past, Mr. Ruys served as the Chairman-Executive Board of Heineken NV from 1993 to 2005, Chairman-Supervisory Board of Royal Schiphol Group NV from 2006 to 2015, Chairman of Van Den Berg NV from 1980 to 1987, Co-Chairman of ECR Europe, Independent Non-Executive Director of British American Tobacco plc from 2006 to 2014, Director-Supervisory Board of GTECH Holdings Corp.

Mr. Ruys obtained a graduate degree from the University of Utrecht in 1971 and a graduate degree from Harvard Business School in 1989.
