Ashutosh Telang

Ashutosh joined True North in 2017 and is a seasoned HR professional with 26 years of work experience.
He guides partner companies in developing culture and leadership capabilities to help them transform into admired institutions.
His areas of focus include the development of a talent network, assessment and development of leadership teams, organization capabilities and providing strategic human capital counsel to the firm and its partner companies.
Prior to True North, Ashutosh was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Marico Limited, where he spent 18 years working across various domains of Human Resources Organization Development, Governance and Industrial Relations.
He institutionalized various business impacting initiatives in HR, strengthened values and culture, set up talent development processes and successfully integrated different cultures across acquisitions in South East Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Prior to Marico, Ashutosh was associated with pharmaceutical companies like E.Merck and Ranbaxy Laboratories.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Statistics) and a Masters in Labour Studies from Mumbai University.
He is a trained Facilitator in Techniques of Participation and Coach from Newfield Asia.
He is also associated with ASCENT Foundation for Entrepreneurs.
