Barbara J. Anderson

Ms. Barbara J.
Anderson is a Controller at Cat Trail Capital LLC.
She has over 20 years experience in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis in the financial service industry, including six years with Starwood Capital Group where she has served as Vice President and Controller.
From 2006 to 2010, she has served as Vice President at Starwood Capital Group overseeing various accounting and financial reporting matters and functions, for numerous entities including real estate investments, Starwood Energy Group Global and the IPO of the a mortgage REIT.
She also served as Controller for Starwood Capital Group from 2000 to 2003.
From 2003 to 2006, Ms. Anderson was Manager of Treasury Accounting for Xerox, where she helped design and implement Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 procedures and controls, as well as oversee debt and derivatives.
She started her accounting career at KPMG Peat Marwick in the early 1990’s in the financial services group and worked on RTC engagements as well as audits of banks, broker dealers and investments companies.
Ms. Anderson holds a BBA., summa cum laude, in Accounting from Western Connecticut State University and an MBA with distinction from the University of Connecticut.
She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Connecticut Society of CPAs.
