Benjamin T. Remmert

Mr. Benjamin T.
Remmert is a Principal at H.I.G.
Ventures LLC.
Prior to joining H.I.G., he was a Vice President at GTCR Golder Rauner, LLC, an $8.0 billion private equity firm focused on leveraged buyouts and growth equity investments, where he worked for two and a half years.
At GTCR, he was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and assisting as an advisor and director for portfolio companies.
He focused primarily on companies in the technology and business services sectors while there.
Previously, he spent four years in the investment banking division of Robinson-Humphrey and its successor, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
While there he focused on companies in the financial services, business services and technology sectors.
Mr. Remmert received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Philosophy with honors from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, where he was a Shermet Scholar.
