At Terra-Gen, he managed activities including real estate acquisition, permitting, engineering, interconnection, and power marketing for multiple investments, including the 1,300 megawatt Alta Wind Energy Center in Kern County, California, as well as geothermal power projects in Nevada and California.
Before Terra-Gen, Bennett spent six years in the engineering and operations organizations at Pratt & Whitney as a project and design engineer for gas turbine hardware and a manufacturing supervisor managing assembly of multiple gas turbine engine families.
Bennett is a graduate of Clarkson University (BS in Mechanical Engineering), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (MS in Mechanical Engineering), and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (MBA).
