Brad Berenson

Dr. Brad Berens is the Chief Strategy Officer at the USC Annenberg Center for the Digital Future, which is capturing longitudinal data about user attitudes to and behaviors around the next wave of the digital revolution: wearable computers, smart environments, robotics and 3D printing.
Brad also directs the Future of Transportation Project, which tracks how people are getting around in different ways using digital technologies; he writes an irregular newsletter about the future of transportation called “Collisions.” In addition to his work with the Center, Brad is Principal at Big Digital Idea Consulting, a trusted advisor to companies of all sizes, and a respected voice in the world of digital media and marketing.
Brad has enjoyed a wide-ranging career that has storytelling as an organizing theme.
He had a long tenure as the Global Chief Content Officer for dmg events’ digital portfolio (ad:tech, iMedia, the Digital Collective and the CMO Collective), editorial and marketing work at EarthLink, and spent several years as a Hollywood story analyst at companies like DreamWorks, New Regency, CAA and Mirage.
He started his career as an award-winning teacher of Shakespeare, English Literature and writing at U.C.
Berkeley.
