Ms. Brenda J.
Gatcomb is a Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager at Camden National Bank.
She is based in the Ellsworth office, and manages portfolios for investment and trust clients primarily in Mid and Down East Maine.
She has more than 28 years of account administration, retirement planning, and portfolio management experience.
Ms. Gatcomb joined Camden National Bank after the merger of Acadia Trust N.A. and Camden National Bank in December 2016, where she was also a Vice President & Portfolio Manager.
She began her banking career with Union Trust in 1982, joining the Trust Department in 1986.
In 1989 she joined the Trust Department of Bar Harbor Banking and Trust where she was responsible for recordkeeping and administration of the Employee Benefit plans.
She returned to Union Trust in 1999, continuing to specialize in Employee Benefit plans while also serving as Relationship Manager for personal investment management and individual retirement accounts.
In 2004, she moved from the administrative to the portfolio management team and continued in that role after the 2008 merger with Camden National Wealth Management.
She received her undergraduate degree from Colby College.
She has earned the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designations from the College for Financial Planning.
