Cathy Freeman

Ms. Cathy S.
Freeman is a Chief Administrative Officer at Cadence Bank.
She is also a Senior Executive Vice President at the firm.
She she brings over 35 years of leadership and experience in commercial banking.
She is responsible for corporate marketing and customer experience, corporate communications, facilities management, and corporate aircraft, and she also serves as the Company’s Corporate Secretary.
Additionally, she supports the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer’s management of the internal audit function and is a member of Cadence’s Executive Management Committee.
Ms. Freeman’s team provides support functions for the Bank and the Board of Directors.
Throughout her career, Ms. Freeman has provided strategic oversight across key administrative and operational areas, contributing to the bank’s growth and organizational alignment.
Her deep industry knowledge and commitment to excellence have made her a trusted advisor within the organization.
She has held several senior roles at Cadence and its predecessor, BancorpSouth, since joining in 1990 as a management trainee.
Early in Ms. Freeman’s career, she held officer positions in the student loan and loan administration areas.
In 1997, Ms. Freeman was promoted to Corporate Secretary, where she continues to support the Board of Directors while assuming additional responsibilities for a range of administrative support functions.
Ms. Freeman holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association (ABA) Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
