It invests between EUR 15 million and EUR 60 million in forms of growth equity, generational transitions, management buy-outs, and share sales. The firm aims for majority and minority stakes and takes an active role in the management of the invested companies.

Is Private Equity is an active manager which invests in high growth Turkish SMEs in a range of sectors, with a focus on retail, branded fast moving consumer goods, services, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, building materials, chemicals, education, tourism, energy and TMT. The firm seeks to invest USD 5-15 million in early-stage, expansion-stage and later-stage companies with attractive returns, a realistic business plan (for organic & inorganic, domestic & international growth), operational profitability, an experienced, innovative and dedicated management team, a sustainable competitive edge, differentiation and clear exit opportunities. Is Private Equity takes minority and majority positions in their investee companies and partners with management to develop value creation strategies to help them in Turkey and to globally compete in their respective industries by sourcing acquisitions, enhancing operational efficiencies, facilitating new market expansions and designing the optimal capital structure to support them during the execution of their strategies. The firm generally holds an investment for three to seven years, typically exiting in the form of sales to financial/strategic buyers, IPOs or sales to shareholders.
