Cheryl Calloway Whaley

Cheryl Calloway Whaley has been Senior Vice President of Capital Markets and Growth Ventures for Genworth Financial, Inc. since January 2007.
Previously, she served as Vice President of Growth Ventures from October 2005 to January 2007.
From December 1996 to August 1998, Ms. Whaley was Senior Vice President of Quality and Business Integration for GE Financial Assurance Holdings, Inc. and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital Life Assurance Co. of New York and American Mayflower Life Insurance Co. of New York from May 2000 to July 2001.
From July 2001 to January 2004, Ms. Whaley was Managing Director and Business Leader of Public Finance for Financial Guaranty Insurance Corporation and a Director and a Member of the Senior Credit Committee.
She held various positions at CS First Boston, Northwest Airlines and Bain & Company.
Ms. Whaley received an MBA from Harvard University.
