Counselman Lee

Lee Counselman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on advising clients in the software and services sectors.
Lee has over 20 years of investment banking experience advising tech, media and telecom companies on a broad spectrum of corporate finance matters, including M&A, debt and equity financings, IPOs and private placements.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Lee was a Managing Director and Global Head of Software Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank and previously served as the firm’s Co-Head of Technology M&A. Before that, he worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. and The Carlyle Group.
He began his career as an auditor in Arthur Andersen’s financial services practice.
Lee holds a B.S.
in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
