With regard to equities, Jacobus offers a variety of investment styles including growth, value, blend, balanced, international or global. The firm's strategies include low turnover, bottom-up, top-down, active, passive ETFs and long/short strategies. They invest across all market-caps. The firm offers investments in a variety of ETFs based on a several strategies including domestic, international, value, growth, large-cap, small-cap, whole sectors or specific industries. For fixed-income investments, Jacobus considers quality, sector, credit, liquidity and duration. Securities may include municipal bonds, treasury bonds, inflation-protected bonds, corporate bonds, international bonds and MLPs. Jacobus also offers a variety of alternative investments including real estate, energy, private equity and debt capital, venture capital, hedge funds and commodities. The firm also assists clients with strategies related to concentrated stock positions and employee stock options. This may include covered call writing, protective put options, cashless collars, subsidized collars, monetized collars, diversification plans and option exercise planning.
