Edward Banks

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Banks was a Managing Director in mergers and acquisitions of JPMorgan Cazenove and previously a Managing Director in JPMorgan’s UK team.
He was responsible for the origination of M&A and equity transactions for UK and overseas clients, most recently advising Telefonica on the sale of Airwave, Babcock & Brown on its acquisition of Eircom, First Group on its acquisition of Laidlaw and Stanley Leisure on its takeover by Genting.
Mr. Banks graduated from Christ Church, Oxford with a BA degree in Philosophy and Theology.
Mr Banks has a 2i from Oxford University and is a qualified lawyer.
