LUKB-EF is an active, long-term manager which constructs diversified portfolios invested globally in equity and fixed-income. As an equity investor they primarily focus on European and North American large-caps and blue-chips making direct investments; however, in the case of emerging markets they prefer to make indirect investments. The firm uses four main investment strategies: yield, balanced, yield-balanced and large-cap equity. They follow a top-down, quantitative, sector specific approach supported by both in-house and third-party macroeconomic research and fundamental analyses. The investment committee meets regularly to make investment decisions. The CIO is responsible for making tactical decisions.
