Realty Partners invests in most types of properties include multi-family, office, retail, industrial and hotels. The firm adheres to holding period of 3 to 5 years and seeks to invest in sectors and markets with improving fundamentals & positive underlying economic and demographic trends. H.I.G. Realty Partners prefers to participate in the following types of transactions: (1) distressed situations including lender and/or developer divestitures (2) sectors and markets with improving fundamentals (3) performing and non-performing loans (4) urban housing and (5) asset repositionings and turnarounds.
