John McCready joined Unicorn in April 2002 from stockbroker Marshall Securities where he was head of research.
He commenced his career as a smaller companies analyst at Fielding Newson Smith in 1985 and subsequently worked as a smaller companies analyst at Laurence Prust, Schroders and Granville before joining Marshall Securities in 1998.
