John Hater

Mr. John Hater is an Investment Manager at General Motors Ventures.
Prior to joining GM Ventures in May 2011, he joined General Motors in 2007 and has held positions in Employment Cost Analysis, Powertrain Finance, Corporate Restructuring, and New Business Development.
In these roles he has supported union negotiations, GM's bankruptcy proceedings, and the divestiture of Saab AB, among other projects.
Prior to joining GM, Mr. Hater worked as a Due Diligence Analyst at Raymond James and Associates providing qualitative and quantitative analysis of professional money managers for the Asset Management Services and Raymond James Consulting Services groups.
Mr. Hater received a master of business administration from Purdue University in 2007 and bachelor of science degrees in finance and management information systems from Florida State University in 2003.
