The museum opened a satellite contemporary art space in downtown Bentonville called The Momentary in February 2020. The museum's mission is to celebrate the American spirit by uniting the power of art with the beauty of nature. The museum's collection includes American masterworks from the early American period to the present day, as well as temporary exhibitions.
