He is a Lead Director of Guaranty Financial Group, Inc. Mr. Temple was a Director of Temple-Inland, Inc. until May 2, 2008.
Previously, he was Chairman of the Texas Select Committee on Higher Education and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, a Member of the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation, Special Counsel to President Lyndon B. Johnson and an Executive Assistant to Texas Governor John Connally.
