Abacus alpha is an active manager which provides financing for restructuring, insolvencies, successions (buyouts and MBOs), secondary transactions, as well as for early stage and growth capital requirements. It invests in both young companies and established medium-sized enterprises located in Europe, with revenues between EUR 3 million and EUR 50 million. It targets industrial, commercial and service companies which operate in a variety of areas such as industry 4.0, energy & energy efficiency, clean/green technologies, water & waste water, and the like. The company, however, does not focus on companies in the fields of B2C, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and chemicals. With a typical investment size between EUR 2 and 30 million and a transaction size between EUR 1 million and 10 million, the firm is open to making both minority and majority investments.
