The firm seeks to invest GBP 5- GBP25 million in consumer branded businesses that have: talented management who are passionate about their brand and have the skills to grow the business; evidence of growing customer demand for their products or services; large or growing markets; achieved brand recognition by consumers and a clear business model with proven competitive advantages and growth potential. Piper participates in MBO, MBI and BIMBO transactions, seeking control or minority positions in their investee companies. They partner with management teams through non-executive roles to provide support and guidance on key strategic, managerial and financial decisions, leveraging the firm's experience as brand builders.
