Ms. Davey co-founded Kairos Capital in 2007.
She began her finance career at Salomon Brothers Inc., Following her time at Salomon Brothers, she was named President of Tribeca Group, Ltd. In 1992, she left Tribeca to found Avalon Group Ltd. and its affiliate Avalon Securities, Ltd. In 1998, she was a New York City finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Ms. Davey has been a board member of various retail and consumer product companies including Tuffy Associates Corp., a private 400 unit auto service franchiser, Jane Cosmetics, and Textus, a private textile company.
She was also a founding member of the President’s Advisory Board of the Fashion Institute of Technology and its Center for Design Innovation.
Ms. Davey graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Architecture and has a Masters in Architecture from the University of Michigan.
She practiced as a registered architect in New York City before earning an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Kairos looks for companies with the following characteristics: (1) a strong or meaningful brand or identifiable niche or concept (2) a management team with meaningful equity ownership and or experience (3) a dominant or defensible market position (4) a leveragable opportunity for targeted return on invested capital (5) stable operating margins with an ability to generate free cash flow (6) recently stable or opportunistic balance sheet with a focus on imbedded value (7) clear, identifiable and profitable real estate strategy (8) reliable systems with data integrity and infrastructure to build upon and (9) relevant business model as defined by scale, competitive environment, strategic drivers for growth, identifiable market opportunities and roadblocks.
