The firm was founded in 2008 through a joint venture between China Southern Asset Management Co., Ltd. and OP Financial Investments Ltd. CSOP provides services to US-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as well as investment advisory and related support services to US and non-US clients, such as high net-worth individuals, pooled investment vehicles and other investment advisers. CSOP is a signatory of UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), a public supporter of TCFD recommendations and a public supporter of the Paris Agreement, which is an international treaty on climate change to limit global warming.
