He began his career at Edward Jones in 2006 as an associate in the firm's Rotational Development Program, working with Edward Jones Trust Company and Equity Research.
In 2007, he joined the firm's Research department as an associate analyst covering the financial services sector, and in 2011, he joined the industrials team as an analyst covering transportation stocks.
Mr. Purk graduated cum laude from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance.
He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2010.
