Massimo Baggiani

Mr. Massimo Baggiani is a Director, Chief Investment Officer & Member of the Investment Committee at Niche Asset Management Ltd. After few years as Credit Analyst and Auditor in 1999 landed a job at Symphonia sgr, a mid-size Italian asset manager, where he was first Financial Analyst, then Fund Manager Assistant, and from 2001, Fund Manager.
From 2006 to the end of 2017 he took care of most of the company global equity assets, directly managing about 1,5 bln usd of aum spread over many mutual funds and institutional mandates, covering different geographies (Europe, Usa, Emerging Markets, Asia, small caps, Global), products (equity, thematic, balanced, flexible, total return), asset classes (equity, gov bonds, corporate bonds, etfs, third parties funds).
While doing so he also reorganized and led from 2006 to 2012 the Symphonia Multisicav sgr, a Symphonia sgr sister investment company focused on funds of funds.
From 2005 to early 2018 he was Director of Symphonia Lux and from 2015 to 2016 director of Leo Fund ltd, a small Uk asset manager.
During the many years spent in Symphonia the products managed by him gained several awards.
He left Symphonia in February 2018 as Head of Equity to found the firm.
Mr. Baggiani is CIIA and holds a degree in economics from the University of Turin.
