Michael Patrick O'Brien

Mr. Michael P.
O'Brien was previously employed as Private Client Head-International by Standard Life Wealth Ltd.
He moved to Standard Life Wealth following the acquisition of the Newton private client business in 2013 and managed portfolios for international and UK private clients.
Mr. O'Brien joined Newton in 1999 where he was a board director of the international business and the Newton Offshore Strategy Fund range and was responsible for the leadership of the international team.
Prior to joining Newton, he was with Mellon Financial (USA) from 1988 and was a Vice President of Mellon’s Private Asset Management Group.
Mr. O'Brien graduated with a First class honours degree in accounting and finance from Bentley College.
He is a CFA Charterholder and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
