Mr. Michael P.
Kitt, CFA, is a Managing Director & Head of Private Markets at RBC Global Asset Management, Inc. In this capacity, he leads the firm’s initiative to develop, launch, and manage a suite of real estate funds that targets both institutional and high-net-worth investors.
He brings over 25 years of direct real estate investment experience to the role.
Prior to joining RBC GAM, he was Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President, Finance & Strategy for Oxford Properties, OMERS’ wholly owned real estate investment entity.
Oxford’s portfolio is comprised of investments across all major asset classes with a significant presence globally.
He also held senior positions at Cadillac Fairview Corporation and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, all related to commercial real estate investing in Canada, the United States and Europe.
He has served as a trustee (board member) for two public REITS – Innvest REIT and Choice REIT – and was a member of the Audit Committee and Governance Committee throughout his term at both entities.
He is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours with Distinction) with a major in Finance.
He was awarded the CFA designation in 1995.
