In 1977 David Taft and Rick McClymont established Britco Structures LLP with a handful of employees and a 10,000 sf factory in Langley BC. Today, employing over 300 people and with two large manufacturing facilities in Agassiz and Penticton, Britco is a top-ten BC-based construction company and the largest designer and manufacturer of modular buildings in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to having been an Official Supplier of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Britco has won numerous industry awards including the BC Export Award for projects in Russia and Indonesia, and, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award for best manufacturing company in Western Canada. Britco is also an Official Supplier of the Canadian Olympic Team.
