Mr. Michael A. Steele is a Chief Operating Officer at MainStreet Investment Advisors LLC.
He joined MainStreet Advisors in 2010 and serves as the firm’s Chief
Operating Officer.
He oversees the company’s day-to-day operations which includes human resources, operations, marketing, technology and compliance.
Additionally, he serves as a portfolio manager for several client relationships.
He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee which establishes investment strategy and policy.
Prior to joining MainStreet Advisors, he was Director of Portfolio Management at Endurance Investment Management, a registered investment advisory firm focused on small cap and mid-cap equity strategies.
Along with his portfolio management responsibilities, he was actively involved in the firm’s new business development initiatives.
Earlier in his career he worked at Northern Trust and American National Bank Investment Management Company where he was involved in the management of various institutional funds.
He received his undergraduate degree from DePaul University and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
