Before joining First Manhattan in 2025, Mr. Sarfati served as Head of U.S.
Equities at GenTrust, advising high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director at Citi and a Director at Barclays in Trading and Research, where he led teams in options trading and cross-asset strategy.
Olivier’s background includes managing complex investment strategies and overseeing a 12-person team of Macro, Derivatives, and Quantitative analysts supporting institutional and family office clients.
He holds two masters degrees: one in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Ensimag, a leading French institution, and another in Financial Markets from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
