3i VC is an active manager which works as a global team to select approximately twenty early- to late-stage investments per year. They invest in a series of funding rounds, separating 'first investments' (in businesses where 3i is not already invested) and 'further investments'. 3i VC actively supports their investee companies, making introductions and offering strategic guidance to accelerate their success. The majority of the firm's venture capital investment is made directly from 3i's balance sheet.
