Prasanna Shiridi

Prasanna brings over 12 years of diverse experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, business development, IP management and commercialisation.
In his last role at NUS Enterprise, he built and managed start-up projects in the NUS flagship innovation program that aims to nurture and invest in deep tech start-ups.
He led the venture building activities in the areas of advanced materials manufacturing, food science and agriculture.
He is also a mentor to several start-ups and drove pre-seed/seed fundraising process that led to investments in various early-stage start-ups.
Previously, he was involved in establishing the Office of Industry and Innovation (OII) at CA2DM, NUS which focused on commercializing innovative 2D materials-related projects.
Prasanna holds Master of Science in biochemistry from NUS.
He has passed all the three levels of the CFA program and is an associate member of the CFA Singapore Society.
