Ramnath Krishnan

Mr. Ramnath Krishnan is a Managing Director & Group Chief Executive Officer at ICRA Ltd. He is on the Board of Directors at ICRA Ltd. Mr. Krishnan joined ICRA in July 2020 as President of Ratings and was appointed Chief Rating Officer in November 2020, a position he held until 22nd October 2021.
He is a senior, experienced banker with over 33 years of national and international experience in different areas of banking.
Mr. Krishnan held senior positions at HSBC India for 23 years and his last role in HSBC was Country Chief Risk Officer at HSBC Malaysia.
Just prior to joining ICRA, he was the Chief Risk Officer at RBL Bank.
Mr. Krishnan holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Loyola College, Chennai, and is a Cost and Works Accountant and a Chartered Accountant.
