Richard Earl Waugh

Richard Earl Waugh is the founder of Apollo Healthcare Corp.
(founded in 2015).
He currently holds the position of Vice Chairman at The Institute of International Finance, Inc. He is also a Director at St. Michael's Hospital, The Multiple Sclerosis Scientific Research Foundation, York University Development Corp., International Monetary Conference, Science Research Foundation, and The Institute of Canadian Bankers.
Additionally, he is a Member of the Business Council of Canada.
Mr. Waugh previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer & Director at The Bank of Nova Scotia (2012-2013) and Deputy Chairman at ScotiaMcLeod, Inc. (2013-2014).
He was also a Director at Inco Ltd. (2009), TC Energy Corp.
(2012-2018), Scotia Group Jamaica Ltd. (2003-2010), Catalyst, Inc., TransCanada PipeLines Ltd., The Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Ltd. (2003-2010), TransCanada Trust, Council of the Americas, Inc., and United Way of Greater Toronto.
Mr. Waugh holds an MBA from York University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba.
