Calhoun, CFA, is a Principal & Chief Investment Officer at Paragon Advisors LLC (Texas).
He brings over ten years of experience in analyzing and managing investments.
Since joining Paragon Financial Advisors in 2013, his primary responsibilities have included investment analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio management.
He brings a quantitative perspective to wealth management as a member and contributor of the Investment Committee.
Mr. Calhoun began investing in 2004 then started his career trading commodity futures in 2009 and incorporated comprehensive portfolio optimization in 2010.
He graduated magna cum laude from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
Mr. Calhoun greatly enjoys learning and has continued his education by obtaining the prestigious CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST (CFA®) designation, a globally recognized portfolio management certification.
