Robert Hurst

Rusty recently joined Banc One Capital Markets, Inc. in March 2002 as head of CDO Research.
Prior to joining BOCM, Rusty was primarily responsible for CDO research at Wachovia Securities, Inc. (legacy First Union Securities, Inc.) Rusty has in-depth experience with structured product and covering investment grade and high yield issuers from a sell-side, buy-side, financial guaranty and rating agency perspective.
Rusty has also held a variety of positions at Chase Asset Management (including head of structured investments and global head of credit research), Financial Security Assurance, Moody’s Investor Services and Irving Trust Co. Rusty’s analysis has been featured in several books and trade publications, including Investing in CDOs, the Handbook of Fixed Income Securities, the Handbook of Asset Backed Securities, the Handbook of Mortgage Backed Securities and the Securitization Conduit.
Mr. Hurst is a member of the Fixed Income Analyst Society.
He earned his MBA in Finance from the Tulane Graduate School of Business and his BA in Political Theory from Tulane University.
